On the 16th of March, 2003, less than a month before her 24th birthday, Rachel Corrie was killed when an Israeli Army bulldozer ran over her. More than 6 years later, there has still been no full and fair investigation into her death, despite calls for one from around the World. Her own country, the U.S.A., has neglected to put any kind of pressure on Israel to ensure that Justice is done. The Corrie family and the Rachel Corrie Foundation For Justice And Peace have been constant in demanding such an enquiry, as well as a boycott of Caterpillar, Inc., the U.S. based company that manufactures a model of bulldozer designed specifically to knock over houses, and continues to supply them to the Israeli Army, despite concrete evidence of the use to which they are put. To date, these machines have killed 17 Palestinians, as well as Rachel.
I (Jimmy Hollis i Dickson) have written a cycle of poems - each from the perspective of a different person - which I have entitled "Another Song For Rachel" and published on http://jimmsfairytales.com/shelives.htm
This is the 2nd of those poems.
This is the first video that I've ever made. I would like to thank my 11-year-old great niece, Emily Watson, for coming around yesterday and teaching me how to do it. (In return, I taught her to walk on stilts.)
For more information about Rachel and the work of the foundation set up in her name, go to http://rachelcorriefoundation.org

Most important: become informed... and spread the word. Rachel's death - and the refusal to deal with it justly - is only ONE small example in which injustices are being carried out all over the World... in "our" name, and with our taxes.
There IS a solution to the problem of irresponsible leaders who refuse to be responsible: that they stop being leaders.
Well, how can WE do anything about THAT??!!
Simple: Leaders stop being leaders when WE stop following them.
